Annoying Bargains
Just had to share a couple annoying sale moments..
First culprit..
They sent me a coupon for 50% off any item.
I figured I would get the Lip Service Steam Machine dress or something else from the line..
I dragged my ass down to the mall. I get to Hot Topic. There are no dresses, Lip service gear , or anything really worth using my coupon on. While heading to the dressing room to try on a shirt I see a glimpse of the backrorom and a rolling rack filled to the brim with their “better” product. Lame one Hot Topic!
Especially considering I asked an employee where all the dresses were ..and got snottily pointed to the one ‘twilight” themed dress..

Second Culprit
Yesterday I received an email saying 40% off your entire purchase! Bonus! I love cheap, slinky, hooker clothes..
I get my shopping cart full of clothing and go back to the email to get the code. It is blank. I email Amiclub to let them know. I never hear back from them. I abandon said shopping excursion. Today I see a coupon they posted on their facebook with code. Yeah.. I go back to the site add a few shirts and enter code. All works well , but shipping which is normally free over $5o is $20. All I had ordered was a couple shirts, dresses, and headbands. SCAM!
I think to myself..well maybe they are foreign based ? I check the contact page. They are in California.
I could drive to California for the cost of shipping and pick it up myself. Seems like Ami is set up to charge shipping for each piece individually. I never understand companies that do this. It punishes customers for purchasing multiple items from them. Lesson learned? Just buy clearance clothing from mi and use code for free shipping.Any other code still leaves you with a hefty shipping bill .
Ami is a great source for dancey clothes, cheap shoes etc.. but boo on both their customer service as well as their crazy shipping costs.
